Plant Solutions creates show-stopping living wall for this eco-focused event

Green Living Magazine, a local eco-conscious lifestyle magazine designed to inspire readers to make mindful choices for a healthier lifestyle and planet, hosted an Earth Day event focused on the future of sustainability in Arizona last month. The event was intended to educate and empower Valley business leaders to take precautions to protect our planet.

The affair kicked off with a luncheon featuring this year’s keynote speaker, City of Phoenix Mayor Kate Gallego, and later broke off into a series of panel discussions focusing on sustainability. Event panelists included Mesa Mayor John Giles, Tempe Mayor Corey Woods, Chandler Mayor Kevin Hartke and Gila River Indian Community Governor Stephen Roe Lewis. Evening events included closing remarks via pre-recorded videos from Senator Kyrsten Sinema and Senator Mark Kelly on the importance of sustainability and combating climate change.

Plant Solutions was proud to provide a 32-square-foot living plant wall as the focal point and backdrop for the day’s events. Bright pops of Green Queen and Neon Pothos mingled with the deep magenta hues of Neoregelia Bromeliad to set the stage for a stunning event. Two Dracena Gold Star plants flanked the wall, adding drama, dimension and vibrancy to the display.

We are grateful to have been chosen as a partner by Green Living Magazine for this educational event to raise awareness on the issues affecting our planet. To explore options on adding a living plant wall to your office or home like the one featured at this event, please click here.
